"Realization is a mix of process and pure revelation. Do the work and the insights will come." - GP Walsh |

TechniquesWhat I Draw OnI call my method The Freedom ProcessTM but it was not created in a vacuum. There are many great techniques to help you on your journey and I have incorporated many of them into my way of teaching and coaching. This is a work in progress by the way. I started out a long time ago with healing prayer and metaphysics and have learned, adapted, integrated and merged many things over the years. Right at this moment my process has borrowed processes and techniques from: |

I adopted these because they each have a particular strength that is needed in The Freedom Process, they are very easy to learn and practice and they usually get results you can see quickly. Moreover some are more suited for some personalities than others and also I found that no technique works 100% of the time. And now a little synposis of each |

Meditation |
![]() |
I started with this one because while most people have not tried it almost everyone has heard of it. It is an ancient technique for self discovery and attaining a state of peace, stillness, equanimity and poise. There are so many flavors available that it is hard to choose. I do recommend that you try several then create one for yourself that works for you. |
Genuine meditation though always boils down to these basics: Contrary to popular belief it is not a religious practice, it does not take forever, you need not do any kind of ritual and you do not need to be able to bend your body into a pretzel. It is a very gentle inner practice with a focus on your experience as being valid and trustworthy. |

Emotional Freedom Technique - EFT |
![]() |
EFT is a marvelous tool developed by a man named Gary Craig. It is based on the ancient Chinese healing art of acupuncture but rather than putting needles into the body to adjust the energy it simply taps on various parts of the body. EFT is at the lead of the new Energy Psychology movement which is growing quite rapidly. And it is growing because it works. It has had miraculous results from everything from fear of snakes and public speaking to PTSD, MS, headaches, and blocks to success. |
Its premise is very simple. All emotional problems are caused by an imbalance in the energy system. The proof is in the putting so I use it simply because it has been almost totally effective at pretty much everything I have tried it on. The Sedona Method and Release Technique |
![]() |
The Method was developed by a man named Lester Levenson in the 1950's. Sent home from the hospital after his second heart attack and with 2 weeks to live he did a crash course in self examination. In 3 months he had cured himself and found an inner peace that never left him and he lived for another 42 years. He reduced his experience to a process which he eventually named "The Sedona Method" but was more often just referred to as "The Method". |
His approach was simply that all lack of peace including physical ailments were caused by holding on to negative emotions. At the heart of those negative emotions were the feeling of wanting or desire. Although Lester was not a spiritual person at the time of his discovery this is, in fact, exactly what Buddha taught. The cause of all suffering is desire or wanting. Lester did us all a great service by creating a method for "letting go" or "releasing" these wants and the suffering that goes with them. After his death in 1994 two schools of "The Method" emerged. One matintained the name the Sedona Method the other became know as The Release Technique. I have studied and practiced both and they differ only in style and emphasis. You can learn more about them at sedona.com or www.releasetechnique.com |

Self-Inquiry |
![]() |
The path of Self-Inquiry or Jnana Yoga is quite ancient, literally thousands of years old. It's modern form came about due to two Indian teachers, Ramana Maharshi and Nisargadatta Maharaj. In a meditative state, one introduces the simple question "Who Am I?". The key to his practice is to not settle for any answer that comes from the mind or from memory. The key lies in a very patient waiting for an answer to come from deep within you. |
The answer will not be a thought or even a feeling. It will be a shift in perception, a direct knowing. And it will be accompanied by a great peace and a felt sense of "I know and I know that I know" This practice is non-dual in nature. It says simply that everything is one. Not that it will become one but that it already is. You don't see it, not because it isn't true, but because of percepetual distortions. The heart of seeing through those distortions is the answer to the question "Who Am I?" |

The Presence Process |
![]() |
The Presence Process was developed by a South African man named Michael Brown. After years of suffering from debilitaing migraine headaches he realized how out of touch with his emotions he was and set about to set that right. No one these days could argue that we live in a very mental world, where we think the mind can do anything and is all that matters. The position of the presence process is that the real connection to our true selves and our permanent happiness lies in the emotions. |
Rather than avoiding them, sedating them, running from them, suppressing them instead we need to embrace them fully and unconditionally. This is not easy since we have all been habituated into denying them. But if you do you, will find the peace that you have sought. Michaels's site is thepresenceportal.com |
So did you notice what all these various practices have in common? They all focus on the FEELINGS and your awareness of them! That's right you FEEL your way to freedom. You can't think you're way there. A little mind training is useful but it will only take you so far and more often than not, becomes a big hindrance. You can reach me directly at 786-308-1015 |
